Deputy General Manager (Engineering)

About the role

The Engineering Deputy – General Manager has overall responsibility for engineering projects and maintenance, including utilities, production lines, processing plants, and buildings. The primary objective of the job is to implement improvements contributing to the factory’s targets, and to effectively maintain all operational and support elements of the sourcing unit. The Engineering General Manager manages engineering spares, assets, services to support manufacturing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the general manager and department heads to establish annual and long range goals, objectives, work plans, policies, programs and related matters
  • Prepares detailed reports and recommendations for agenda items subject to approval by the Board of Directors
  • Present engineering operating budget to the general manager and Board of Directors, recommends purchase of necessary equipment and materials, approves the forecast of funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials and supplies, approve expenditure and implement budgetary adjustments
  • Mentoring and providing staff development opportunities to assigned departments
  • Ensuring that appropriate safety policies, procedures and programs are effectively implemented, that adequate resources and priorities are assigned to correcting hazardous conditions, and that applicable safety program activities are carried out
  • Taking action for continuous improvement of ISO, HACCP and GMP System
  • Implementing SOP procedures
  • Support and lead engineering team in the effective maintenance and operation of equipment including utilities and plant

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree for B.E (Mechanical/Electrical)
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in related field
  • Must have knowledge of financial and legal aspects related to this field of work
  • Strong English skill
  • Good communication skills
  • Good leadership and teamwork skills

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate marketing, advertising, promotion and activities
  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
  • Analyze market trend and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback
  • Engage consumer on social media
  • Collaborate with sales and sourcing to develop strategic partnership activities and implement the execution framework and strategic plan on identified opportunities
  • Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitors
  • Expand and develop marketing platforms
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activities
  • Determine and manage the marketing budgets
  • Manage and monitor day to day operation of the marketing department

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (MBA or Marketing related degree is preferred)
  • Must have 6 years experience in FMCG marketing
  • Technical marketing skill
